Glacier Grannies - (African angels, covid masks, food wraps, and other textiles.)

Glacier Granny products are made locally in the Comox Valley by women supporting African grandmothers and their orphaned grandchildren in 15 Sub-Saharan countries affected by HIV and AIDS and now Covid19.   We are part of the Grandmothers Campaign /Stephen Lewis Foundation.  

     To fundraise we sew or make:

• Beautiful Facemasks all made from 100% high quality cotton or batik cotton -$15 (many have optional 3rd filter layer). Different sizes and kids masks too.
• Microwave Cosies in 3 sizes:   S and M $15, L is $18
• Taggy Blankies for babies with ultra soft cosy fabric and/or satin base with detachable teething ring and colourful ribbon loops $15
• Gorgeous Smocked Dresses (girls 2-4), $40
• Children's Aprons $12
• Snap Happies (small fabric bags that snap open/shut). $15
• Eco-Wraps 3 squares (S,M,L)  cotton infused with beeswax for food wraps or container covers  $15
